Order Now EVD-RS232 Driver for SONY® EVI-D31 pan-tilt video camera SONY® EVI-D31 camera is probably the most used in video conferencing and particular security systems. It is a high quality video camera with a powerful 12X zoom, that incorporates motors for pan-tilt movements. It comes with an infrared remote control, but this driving method reduces greatly its usability since you must be in front of it to be able to drive its movements. As an alternative you can drive it with a PC, but this is expensive and not so reliable. Our EVD-RS232 driver comes as a perfect solution, inexpensive and highly reliable. With it you can program a series of movement that will be repeated by the camera until an operator will take control of it with our driver's joystick, to zoom the details he/she wants to see. It is possible to use the MD (motion detection) camera funtion to trigger an output (provided on a relay clean contact), to start a VCR or trigger an alarm only when something happens into a portion of the image. It is possible to preset up to 99 camera positions in order to automatically frame people talking into a conference room, without needing a camera-man. Examples of application done with our driver are: room controls in hospitals (1 nurse can keep 3 rooms under control), conference room video display systems, security systems, expecially in small shops etc. etc. An image is worth a thousand words, check the EVD-RS232 flash animation and you will see the real thing! |

Specifications: To use the EVD-RS232 driver just connect the Serial interface of the driver to the Visca connector of the camera. More cameras (up to 3) can be connected in series via a serial cable (Ethernet cable,class 5 /properly connected to have the gnd always as a wire of each pair) does the job.
